Cager (died 1777) was a Queen's Ranger who served under Major Robert Rogers until Rogers' removal from command. When Captain John Graves Simcoe arrived as the new commander of the Queen's Rangers, Cager opposed and was offered a chance to kill Simcoe. He took the chance and was quickly scalped. On the ground, he reached for a pistol and was shot in the head by Simcoe, killing him.
